Continuing Education Opportunities
Please note that CSHA is revising its CEU forms. The new
forms will be available shortly.
The Colorado Speech-Language Hearing Association is approved by the Continuing Education
Board (CEB) of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) to offer continuing
education activities to speech-language pathologists and audiologists. ASHA CE sponsors
offer activities which provide participants with an opportunity to earn continuing
education units (CEUs) applicable toward the Award of Continuing Education.
CSHA
educational activities always offer continuing
education opportunities. Specific CEU information is provided with the
meeting programs, when those are made available.

ASHA Requirements for Earning CEUs
Effective July 1, 2011,
individuals must meet at least one of the following conditions
to be eligible to earn ASHA CEUs.

ASHA Member (includes life
member and International affiliates)
-
ASHA Certificate of
Clinical Competeence (CCC) Holder
-
Licensed by a state or
provincial regulatory agency to practice speech-language
pathology (SLP) or audiology
-
Credentialed by a state
regulatory agency to practice SLP or audiology
-
Credentialed by a national
regulatory agency to practice SLP or audiology
-
A Clinical Fellow
supervised by someone who holds the ASHA CCC
-
Currently enrolled in a
masters or doctoral program in SLP or audiology.
